310 Youth Delegates from All 64 Districts Join the National Youth Conference 2025

The National Youth Conference 2025 was held on 4 September 2025 at the Pan Pacific Sonargaon, Dhaka, bringing together 310 youth delegates from all 64 districts of Bangladesh. Organized by Youth For Change Bangladesh Foundation with support from Plan International Bangladesh and SIDA under the Y-Moves Project, the conference drew 192 male, 112 female, and 6 other-gender participants, alongside government officials, civil society, private sector representatives, academia, and development partners.

Ahead of the conference, YFC-BD and the Bangladesh Youth Coalition conducted a national youth survey across more than 100 youth-led organizations, identifying four priority areas: employment and skills, youth participation and rights, climate justice, and gender equality with social inclusion. These priorities framed three panel discussions held throughout the day.

Guest of Honour Md. Daud Miah, NDC, emphasized the role of youth in driving the Sustainable Development Goals through 2030, while special guests from the NGO Affairs Bureau and the Ministry of Youth and Sports reiterated the importance of inclusive youth engagement in national policymaking. The conference reinforced the outcomes of the Y-Moves Project in strengthening youth agency and served as a strategic platform bridging youth priorities with policy commitments.
